Assistant Account Executive

Strategic public relations and integrated marketing firm in Stow, Ohio, seeks an assistant account executive. We’re a small but successful agency that focuses on clients that have highly technical products and/or services.

The assistant account executive is responsible for driving client success in public relations and integrated marketing campaigns. The assistant account executive must be able to work collaboratively and efficiently to meet deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment while ensuring that the work delivered meets requirements and is of the highest quality.

 

Job Responsibilities:


  • Oversees project management tool and timing for all projects
  • Helps facilitate daily cross-functional reviews with all agency members, owns agendas, manages notes from client meetings, share notes and works with account leads to develop next steps and deadlines
  • Partners with Account leads on day-to-day account service
  • Work hand in hand with Account leads on tactical deliverables when and where needed with an emphasis on digital content, social media and collateral
  • Helps to build and maintain strong Client-side partnerships
  • Collaborates with Account leads on efficiencies within current processes and development of new processes as needed
  • Helps to fulfill Client creative and writing needs when and where applicable
  • Helps to ensure consistency across all campaign elements and flawless execution against timelines

 

Opportunities:


  • Ability to learn Asana and Wrike, project management applications
  • Ability to learn Hootsuite, a social media marketing and management dashboard
  • Ability to learn Client service and assist on all Agency accounts
  • Ability to learn Canva, a ‘design for everyone’ layout application

 

Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:


  • Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would qualify
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation or related discipline
  • Bonus: 1-3 years of account service in a public relations agency or advertising agency or equivalent experience in a corporate marketing position
  • Strong writer, communicator and ability to execute against timelines
  • Ready to work in a multi-faceted, fast-paced environment
  • Communicates clearly with internal team and Clients
  • Active listening skills, innate curiosity and willingness to learn new things
  • Enjoys work under tight deadlines & helps to develop quick solutions to solve pressing problems
